Monique Apollon Williams, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor at Howard University in the School of Education, focusing on undergraduate mathematics education and training reflective educators for diverse populations. As the Founder and CEO of Reimagining Math LLC, Monique provides consulting services aimed at increasing student math achievement and improving instructional practices for multilingual learners and students with learning differences. Monique has held various roles including Manager of Secondary Math and Elementary Math for the District of Columbia Public Schools, where curriculum development and assessment analysis were key responsibilities. Previous teaching positions include adjunct roles at George Mason University and various community colleges, as well as earlier experience as a high school mathematics teacher. Monique's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education Leadership from George Mason University and multiple master's degrees from Towson University.
