Joanne Gueverra-Pluff currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Student Experience at Howard University, a position held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Joanne was the Associate Dean of Admission-Director of Multicultural Recruitment at Hamilton College from October 2020 to October 2021, and the Associate Director of Admissions-Recruitment and Strategy at Utica College from January 2018 to 2020, where responsibilities included leading recruitment initiatives and managing an admissions team. Joanne's early career included serving as Senior Assistant Director of Admissions and as a Community Educator with the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley. Joanne holds a Master of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Utica University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Communication Arts from the same institution (2004-2008).
