Michael Stern, CPA, currently serves as Accounting Controller at Howard-Sloan Search since November 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Staff Accountant at L.H. Frishkoff from August 2017 to November 2022, and as an Audit Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, where Michael specialized in auditing Not-For-Profit entities with a focus on Healthcare. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Staff Accountant at Figliozzi & Co. CP and as an Accounting Intern at WV Network, with earlier internships at Cohen & Slamowitz, LLP, and Sandler, Rosengarten, Denis, & Berger, LLP. Michael earned a BS in Accounting from West Virginia University, where involvement included membership in fraternities and participation in intramural sports.
