Barbara Pierce is a dedicated advocate for women's empowerment in finance and philanthropy, currently serving as the Founder and Principal of Women with Capital since January 2019. Barbara has played a significant role in fostering a learning community focused on impact investing and strategic philanthropy. Additionally, Barbara is a Limited Partner at How Women Invest, a venture capital firm aimed at supporting female founders, and holds membership roles in various organizations, including Women Donors Network and the International Women's Forum. Previous experience includes founding Transformative Giving and serving as an Advisory Council Member for REDF. Barbara's educational background includes a BA in History and Literature from Wellesley College and an MA in Latin American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
