Ryan O'Day has extensive experience in software engineering and technology companies. Ryan currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Hovr, a venture-backed technology company that focuses on revolutionizing online brand engagement. In this role, Ryan helps marketing teams increase engagement from their website visitors through scalable and engaging experiences.

Prior to Hovr, Ryan held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Career and Employment Options, Inc. Here, they were responsible for fixing bugs, adding functionality, and maintaining a mission-critical application that generated millions of dollars in revenue.

Ryan also served as the Head of EngageWhiz / COO at Epistem Interactive, where they were involved in software development for the EngageWhiz platform and contributed to the platform's sales. Ryan also played a key role in running the company's operations.

Before joining Epistem Interactive, Ryan founded EngageWhiz LLC in 2017. Ryan developed student engagement software widely used by students and professors before the company was acquired by Epistem in 2019.

Additionally, Ryan has experience as a Mentor at Google igniteCS, where they played a crucial role in making computer science education more accessible to high school and middle school students. Ryan organized mentoring sessions, workshops, and hackathons, and contributed to software and app development.

Earlier in their career, Ryan worked as an Intern at Westchester Road Runner, where they assisted customers in finding proper footwear, managed inventory, and handled custom orders.

Ryan O'Day attended Rye Neck High School, although the duration of their enrollment is unknown. Ryan later pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at Stony Brook University, completing their studies from 2015 to 2019.
