Bob is currently Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for PlasMet, LLP and has been a CFO for over 20 years. In his role as CFO, Bob is responsible for all financial, accounting, and administrative operations. In addition, he manages and directs all banking relationships and banking syndication groups. Bob also serves as Chief Information Officer and is responsible for all computer hardware, software design, and applications.
Bob began his career as Accounting Officer and Legislative Liaison for the Governor’s Budget Office and eventually was promoted to Budget Director for the Georgia Department of Industry and Trade. After eight years of service in the public sector, Bob moved to the private sector in 1992 as Controller of Rollins Supply, Inc. In 1999 he accepted the VP CFO position for Newell Recycling, Inc.
Bob is a Board Member of Hover Energy LLC, where he chairs the Finance Committee and remains Chairman of the Board for Regenedyne, the predecessor IP Company to Hover Energy. Hover has invented and proven the first viable roof-top wind turbine for the Built Environment.
Bob is an Atlanta native. He graduated from the University of Georgia's undergraduate program with a double major in Economics and Spanish. Bob is also a graduate of the Executive Master’s Program at the distinguished Wharton School where he studied emerging economies around the globe.
Bob is a Wharton Fellow, a Certified Management Accountant, and has over 25 years’ experience in accounting and finance where he has helped to pioneer the field of Quantitative Modeling.
