Mikado Hinson currently serves as a Player Development Advisor for the Houston Texans since July 2024. Hinson has been self-employed as a ring announcer for boxing and MMA events since April 2013, showcasing skills similar to those of renowned announcers like Michael Buffer and Jimmy Lennon Jr. From June 2014 to May 2024, Hinson held the position of Director of Player Development for the football program at Texas A&M University. Prior experience includes a role as Chaplain and FCA Campus Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, along with work as Greater Houston FCA Field Staff from November 1998 to May 2014. Hinson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Broadcasting from Norfolk State University and an Associate of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Johnson County Community College.
