Dr. Uloma Achinanya is an experienced education professional currently serving as West Division Support at Houston ISD since October 2023, focusing on district professional development, data tracking, and research development. With a robust background in instructional roles, Dr. Achinanya has been an Instructional Specialist (Math) and IB Coordinator at Margaret Lee Wisdom High School since August 2021, leading a high-performing team and implementing data-driven assessments. Previous positions include Mathematics Specialist at Catapult Learning and various teaching roles at GEMS Metropole School and GEMS Wellington Academy. Dr. Achinanya has a strong educational foundation, including a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and multiple advanced degrees, including an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and studies in leadership and robotics.
