Serafina is a venture designer and operations strategist who is currently serving as the interim executive director at Houston Exponential. Serafina has also held positions as a vice president of operations, chief of staff, and strategic operations lead and product manager. Serafina has also worked as a producer and on-air personality of the HealthMakers Show.

Serafina has a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College in Sociology, Molecular Biology, and Global South Development Studies. Serafina also has a Masters in Public Health from the Boston University School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Law, Policy, and Management. In addition, Serafina has an Advanced Health Management degree from Yale University in Business Administration and Management. Finally, Serafina is Six Sigma Green Belt certified in Lean Management from IASScore.
