Alexa Carlson is the current wardrobe manager at the Houston Ballet. Alexa has previous experience working as costume shop staff at the University of Montana from August 2013 to May 2014, as well as a costume designer/technician at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse from May 2014 to July 2015. In addition, they have also worked as a wardrobe assistant at the Vail International Dance Festival from June 2013 to August 2016.

Alexa Carlson's educational career began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Montana. Alexa then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a concentration in production design- costume. Finally, they completed their education at Montana State University-Bozeman.

They work with Crystal Breihan - Wardrobe Coordinator I, Zach Paugh - Costume Shop Manager, and Frances Steen - Dresser. Alexa Carlson reports to Sandra Fox, Head of Costumes.
