Elaina Camacho is a seasoned professional in the field of criminal justice with a Bachelor's Degree from Mercy University, earned between 1999 and 2003. Since July 2017, Elaina has held multiple leadership roles at Housing Works, currently serving as Senior Director, with previous positions including Director of Justice Initiatives and Assistant Director of the SMART Program. Prior experience includes roles at Vera Institute of Justice from November 2011 to June 2014, where Elaina worked as Operations Supervisor and Senior Pretrial Specialist, as well as positions at Urban Justice Center from November 2007 to June 2011 as Case Manager, and at The Bronx Defenders from August 2004 to August 2006 as Staff Investigator.
