Joshua Hands currently serves as the Director of Parliamentary Affairs in the Office of the Hon. Michael Chong at the House of Commons of Canada since August 2022, previously holding the position of Legislative Assistant in the same office. Prior to that, Joshua worked at Shopify from April 2019 to August 2022 as a Support Advisor, focusing on e-commerce management and technical issue resolution. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs, Information Technology Coordinator at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Insurance Advisor at TD, and various positions related to research and athletics at the University of Toronto. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from Victoria University, as well as a Master of Arts in Political Science. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of Melbourne, Joshua continues to build a strong foundation in both legal and political domains.
