Benjamin Wiles, LLB, LLM, MSc, currently serves as the Chief of Staff to the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the House of Commons of Canada since April 2023. Previously, Benjamin held the role of Director of Parliamentary Affairs for the Member of Parliament for Kitchener Centre. Benjamin has extensive experience in research and audit supervision, having worked as the Research Team Lead/Audit Supervisor at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario, overseeing various audit portfolios. Benjamin's academic qualifications include a Master of Laws (summa cum laude) from the University of Ottawa, bachelor's degrees in law from The University of Edinburgh and Tilburg University (both summa cum laude), a Master of Science (with distinction) from McGill University, and further studies in economics and commercial law at Università Bocconi, complemented by a Bachelor of Science (with honors) from Simon Fraser University.
