Paul Birchwood currently serves as Vice President at Houlihan Lokey since July 2019, previously holding the position of Associate. Birchwood is an MBA graduate from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Caribbean Information and Credit Rating Services Limited (CariCRIS), where supervision of analysts and credit analyses for corporate entities across four Caribbean countries was key. Earlier roles at CariCRIS included Rating Analyst and Junior Rating Analyst, with notable achievements in equity valuation projects. Prior to CariCRIS, Birchwood spent nearly five years at RBC Royal Bank Trinidad and Tobago Limited, progressing from Credit Analyst to Assistant Manager Commercial Banking, where oversight of significant client portfolios and successful business development initiatives were highlighted. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in International Finance from the University of the West Indies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
