Rebecca Zelaya is a Professional Learning Consultant at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, specializing in literacy and intervention solutions through training for educators. With extensive experience as a Noonday Ambassador, Rebecca advocates for global artisan businesses and promotes fair trade products. Previously, Rebecca taught English as a second language at VIPKid and worked as a bilingual teacher in both NORTH EAST ISD and Northside ISD, focusing on dual language education. Additional roles include serving as an Educational Consultant at Covenant Christian School and substitute teaching across various grade levels at the American International School of Costa Rica. Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Trinity University.
