John Callaghan is an experienced Lead Mobile Developer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, overseeing the development of large-scale e-learning applications across iOS, tvOS, and Android platforms since September 2012. With a robust background in mobile and web development, John has also worked as a Freelance Developer, Technical Director at Herd.fm, and Lead Developer at Secret Location, an Emmy award-winning interactive media company. John has founded and served as CTO of Mercury Digital and held various development roles at O2 Ireland, Ulster Bank, and KPMG. Educational qualifications include a Digital Media Mentor Programme from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, a Multimedia Systems Masters from Trinity College, Dublin, and a Bachelor in Information Technology from University College Cork.
