Kate Achilles has a diverse range of work experience. In 2017, they co-founded and became director of HotTea Mama, a company that provides functional herbal tea blends for women's wellness. Kate also served as the Marketing Director APAC at Lithium Technologies from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they worked as a Social Media Communities Manager at MobSoc Media from 2013 to 2016. Kate was a Marketing Consultant at FrameFish, a tech startup, from 2013 to 2014. In 2012, they worked at the Australian National University as part of the Marketing Department and Student Office for the College of Arts and Social Sciences. Kate received the Australian National University Innovation Award in 2012 for their contributions. Prior to that, they worked in digital marketing roles at The Cottage Oil Company and Carbon Training International Pty Ltd. In 2010, they were a Digital Marketing/Project Manager APAC at iStrategy Conference Series. Kate also gained experience as a Project Manager/Administrator at Dance UK and as an Event Consultant at Oxford Fashion Week in 2009.
Kate Achilles attended Brisbane Girls Grammar School, but it is unclear when they attended or if they received a degree. From 1999 to 2001, they studied at the Australian Ballet School and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Dance. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they attended The University of Queensland, where they completed a Bachelor of Business Management with a field of study in International Business.
