Marcel Lakeman is a data engineer at Hot ITem since April 2022, focusing on enhancing performance through data-driven solutions. Previously, Marcel gained experience as a data science intern at Recoy, where development of a data management system for automatic data collection and visualization was completed. As a project engineer at ERIKS, Marcel expanded algorithms by integrating additional failure mechanics and parameters. During an internship as a data scientist, Marcel created a neural network algorithm in R for identifying failures in smart pump systems. Marcel holds a Master of Science in Digital Driven Business and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering: Sustainable Energy Systems from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
