Mike Sgro has over three decades of experience in the finance and accounting field, currently serving as a Financial Analyst at Hospital Sisters Health System since September 1990. In this role, Mike assists in transitioning the accounting department to new leadership and undertakes special projects. Previously, Mike held the position of Controller at the same organization, managing the accounting function, including financial reporting to senior leadership and issuing system-wide policies and procedures. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Sales Representative at MetLife and as Controller and Assistant Secretary at Chicago & Illinois Midland Railway. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Sangamon State University and an Associate of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Springfield College in Illinois. Additionally, Mike completed secondary education at Griffin High School in Springfield, Illinois.
