Sara Cohick, BSW, MSW, LICSW, ACHP-SW, currently serves as the Staff Engagement Director at Hospice of the Panhandle, where employment began in November 2012, and has held various roles including Social Services Director and Social Work Manager. Additionally, Sara is a Board Member for CASA of the Eastern Panhandle since January 2023. Previous experience includes working as a CPS Investigator and Forensic Interviewer at the Safe Place Child Advocacy Center from October 2008 to November 2012, as well as serving as a Foster Care Social Worker for the Montgomery County, Virginia Department of Social Services from January 2007 to October 2008. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Radford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Ferrum College.
