Jane Archdeacon is an experienced mental health professional specializing in counselling, with a significant focus on bereavement and supportive care. Currently serving as a Senior Counsellor at Hospice of the Good Shepherd since February 2021, Jane previously held the position of Head of Supportive Care at Compton Care, managing a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a personal caseload. Jane's counselling experience spans various settings, including serious illnesses at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, private practice, and support for survivors of sexual violence at Savana. Jane holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Counselling from the University of Chester, a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision from CPCAB, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Exeter.
