Gayla Hand is currently employed as an RN Case Manager at Hospice of Chattanooga, where Gayla collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, assess patient conditions, update care plans, provide supervision, educate patients and families, offer emotional support, and coordinate equipment. Prior to this, Gayla worked as an RN Clinical Reviewer at STAR Medical Auditing Services, where Gayla discussed determinations with physicians, provided education on LCD interpretation, and ensured consistency in the medical review process. Gayla also has extensive experience as an RN Case Manager at both Hearth Hospice and as an RN at Parkridge West, where Gayla handled various nursing responsibilities and collaborated with healthcare team members.
