Dez Stavracos has over a decade of experience in the animation and production industry. Dez started their career as a Graphic Designer and IT Manager at Guidance Corporation in 2008. In 2010, they worked as a Producer at Plymptoons until 2013. Dez then joined Adelphi University as an Adjunct Professor and also worked as a Producer at School of Visual Arts from 2013 to 2021. In 2014, they joined Hornet as a Producer and progressively worked their way up to Senior Producer, Production Supervisor, and currently serve as the Head of Production. Throughout their career, Dez has also freelanced as an Animator and Illustrator. They bring extensive expertise in production oversight, animation, and teaching to their current role at Hornet.

Dez Stavracos obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Animation from the School of Visual Arts, where they studied from 2003 to 2008.
