Mike Spann started their work experience in 1978 as a Research Scientist Associate V at the University of Texas at Austin. Mike worked in this role until 1991 when they transitioned to become the President of Horizon Printing, where they currently work.

Mike Spann attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1973 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Mike'sspecific fields of study were Mechanical Engineering (BSME) and Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
