Nicholas Peterson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey since November 2011. Prior roles at Horizon included Vice President for Corporate, Regulatory, and Privacy matters, and several positions leading up to the role of Associate General Counsel. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a Regulatory Compliance Attorney at Davis Vision from May 2007 to November 2011 and began a legal career as a legal intern. Nicholas holds a Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
