Petros Douvantzis has worked in the technology industry since 2006. Petros began their career as a co-founder and author of the popular Greek blog Wiggler.gr. In 2010, they became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Crete, and in 2011 they took on the role of Research Assistant at ICS-FORTH. In 2012, they co-founded and developed for Evil Window Dog, and in 2014 they became Co-Founder and CTO of Horizon Video Technologies. Most recently, in 2016, they became a Mobile Developer at Silent Circle.

Petros Douvantzis received their Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2003 and 2010. Petros then went on to earn an MSc in Computer Vision from the University of Crete between 2010 and 2012.
