Tara is the president of Cowell Law Corporation which provides legal services to hospitals, medical groups, academic medical centers, and physicians. Prior to launching her own practice in 2018, Tara worked for 18 years as a member of the legal team for St. Joseph Health System.

Tara is a committed philanthropist and non-profit volunteer. Most recently, she served on the Public Law Center board. She also volunteers for the Senior Center of Orange providing meals on wheels. Her firm dedicates 2% of its net revenue to help end child

trafficking and support its victims.
