Mariëlle de Jong - van Leeuwen is a strategic policy advisor at LTO Nederland, specializing in entrepreneurship since February 2024. Additionally, Mariëlle is a member of the General Board of Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en Krimpenerwaard since March 2023. Between August 2022 and February 2024, Mariëlle contributed to HortiHeroes, focusing on talent development in the Food and Flower sector. Mariëlle has experience as a Toastmaster at Sprekershaven Toastmasters Rotterdam and as a project leader at metmariel.nl, where a feasibility exploration for a traineeship was conducted. Previous roles include leadership positions at dehofmakerij, IT Campus Rotterdam, and Signify, where Mariëlle managed global marketing strategy in the floriculture segment. Early career experience includes business development and marketing consultancy, alongside community management at Acqua Universo.
