Jelle Baumgärtel is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in water management and environmental policies. Currently serving as a Beleidsmedewerker at Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard since January 2018, Jelle also works as a Proces engineer at Waterschap Hollandse Delta, focusing on asset management. Prior roles include trainee positions at Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland, where Jelle led a project on plastic waste in water systems, and Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard, contributing to energy efficiency and corporate social responsibility plans. Jelle’s earlier experience includes administrative support for international students at Wageningen UR and various internships related to circular economy and environmental analysis.
