Karl Forssman has worked in a variety of roles in the business world since 1978. Karl began their career at RÖRSTRAND AB as an Export Sales Manager. In 1980 they moved to Essity, where they held three positions in Marketing and Product Management. From 1986 to 1990, they were the Managing Director of Nordenta GmbH. After that, they were the Managing Director of TRETORN from 1990 to 1993. From 1993 to 1998, they were the Managing Director of MSA - The Safety Company, where they changed the organization to a modern market approach with appropriate tools, and also downsized by 30%. From 2003 to 2013, they were the President & CEO of ParentPlus LLC, where they raised $500k+ in starting capital. From 2013 to 2015, they were the President & CEO of International business and Start-up Consulting. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been the Co-Founder and Sales & Marketing Manager of HoofStep, a sophisticated monitoring device that tracks horses' movements and behaviors.

Karl Forssman attended Lund University from 1973 to 1978, where they earned a BSBA in International Marketing and Management. Karl also attended Universit\u00e9 Grenoble Alpes in 1978, but did not receive a degree.
