Amanda Newman CPA, CGA, currently serves as Regional Controller for Hood Packaging Corporation, a position held since April 2019, and prior held the role of Accounting Manager. Amanda's experience includes a six-month contract as Finance Manager at Lafarge Canada and serving as Financial Controller at Made Foods Inc. between October 2016 and May 2018. Additional roles include Contract Finance Analyst at Sobeys, Accounting Manager for Real Estate at The Brick, Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Events Edmonton, and various finance positions at Sobeys from January 2008 to April 2014. Amanda began their career as an Accountant at The Little Potato Company Ltd. from November 2005 to February 2008. Educationally, Amanda holds a CGA designation from CGA Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McMaster University.
