Mariko Chang is an experienced professional in philanthropy and arts management, currently serving as the Director of Philanthropy at Honolulu Civil Beat since September 2016, where previous roles included Major Gifts Manager and Membership and Events Manager. Prior experience includes managing donor services at Hawaii Theatre Center and working as a Creative Industries Specialist for the Hawaii State Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism. Mariko has also held positions in various arts organizations, such as the Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts as a Curatorial Assistant and as a Development & Curatorial Intern at the Honolulu Museum of Art. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Business Administration and Museum Studies from John F. Kennedy University and a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and Asian Studies from the University of Redlands.
