Diane Evans is an experienced grants manager with a diverse background in arts, education, and community service. Currently serving as Grants Manager at Hawaii Community Foundation since June 2023, Diane previously held the position of Grants and Communications Manager at Kokua Kalihi Valley from September 2019 to June 2023. Diane's entrepreneurial experience includes owning The Competitor, a tennis specialty store, from 2016 to May 2019. Prior roles encompass Executive Director of Museums of Sonoma County, Director of Development and Marketing at Gardner Family Health Network, and Curator at Nevada Museum of Art. Additionally, Diane served as a lecturer at the University of Nevada, Reno and as a legislative assistant for US Representative Bart Gordon. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Art History from the University of Delaware, an MBA in Management & Marketing from Duke University, and a BA in Art History from the University of California, Davis.
