Timothy Newbold II is a Mechanical Engineer at Honeybee Robotics, focusing on robotics for space applications and harsh vacuum environments since August 2020. Skillset includes Solar Simulator development and oxygen production from regolith. Additionally, Timothy serves as the Dynamometer & Calibrations Captain for Cal Poly Pomona Formula SAE, where efforts involve designing a control system for automated powertrain calibration. Previous experience includes an internship at Motiv Robotics, where design and assembly of robotic components took place, and seismic engineering support at AJ Engineering, INC, emphasizing earthquake safety. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University Pomona, obtained in 2017.
