Mary Ankenbauer is a Manufacturing Engineer I at Honeybee Robotics since May 2022, where responsibilities include establishing a conformal coating process compliant with NASA standards, integrating polymerics machinery into production, and restructuring process flows. Previously, during an internship at Honeybee Robotics in 2021, Mary utilized Lean manufacturing tools to redesign manufacturing cells and developed a visual management system. Earlier experiences include roles as a Project Engineering Intern at Burns & McDonnell, contributing to the Utility Master Plan for the Capitol Power Plant, and as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Vishay Intertechnology, where time analysis and design proposals for automation were key focuses. Mary Ankenbauer earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2022.
