Bram Bolder began their work experience in 2000 as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter mit akademischem Abschluss at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Bram worked in this role until 2005. In 2005, they joined Honda Research Institute Europe GmbH as a Principal Engineer, and they are currently still in this position.

Bram Bolder received a Diplom degree in Physik from Bergische Universität Wuppertal in the years 1994 to 2000. Following that, they obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physik from Ruhr University Bochum from 2000 to 2005.
