Emily Huang has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Emily started their career at Motorola Solutions as a Software Engineer in 1998 and worked there until 2001. Emily then joined the Chicago Board Options Exchange as an API Development Manager and held that position for almost nine years. In 2010, Emily became a Lead Engineer at Wellington Management, where they worked until 2013. Emily then became a Senior Development Manager at Alere Accountable Care Solutions, where they stayed until 2014. From 2015 to 2017, Emily worked as the Director of Software Development at Escher Group. Their most recent role is as the Director of Infrastructure at HomeWorks Energy, Inc. starting in April 2019.
Emily Huang's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Automatic Control from Tsinghua University, which they obtained between 1990 and 1995. Emily later pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa from 1996 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2017.
