Judit Jimenez Sainz is an accomplished academic and scientist currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department at the Medical University of South Carolina since August 2023. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Judit has contributed to the Homeward Bound Leadership Program since November 2019 and has been a Co-Chair for the Science Policy and Attraction of Scientific Talent Commission at RAICEX from May 2021 to December 2023. Previously, Judit held the position of President at Españoles Científicos en USA (ECUSA) until September 2023 and was an Associate Research Scientist at Yale University School of Medicine for a decade. Judit's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biology-Biotechnology from Universidad de Valencia, complemented by a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cellular and Genetics.
