Heidy Diaz, MSW, LCSW, currently serves as the Co-Chair of the NASW Central Unit at the National Association of Social Workers since January 2020. In addition, Heidy Diaz is the Field Supervisor for BSW and MSW students at United Against Poverty Inc, a position held since May 2019, and an Adjunct Instructor with the Institute for Families at Rutgers School of Social Work since January 2021, focusing on professional development in child welfare. As the Proprietor and CEO of Heidy Diaz Consulting, Inc. since 2014, Heidy Diaz provides consultation for organizational change and professional coaching. Previous experience includes a role as a Child Welfare Professional in both public and private sectors from September 1997 to July 2014, working with children and families involved with the Dependency System. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Central Florida, along with ongoing studies at various institutions.
