Michael P. McNamara has extensive experience in the construction and engineering field. Michael P. has held various leadership roles at Holtec International, starting in 1998 as the Vice President of Nuclear Projects, where they managed numerous projects involving re-racking of spent nuclear fuel pools and dry cask storage. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Vice President of Construction at Holtec Government Services, overseeing Department of Energy projects. Prior to their work at Holtec, Michael was President of THOR Treatment Technologies from 2006 to 2014 and President and GM of the Engineered Products Division of URS from 2011 to 2014.

Michael P. McNamara earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of New Haven. This educational experience occurred between 1975 and 1981. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained various certifications related to athletic achievements and events, such as completing multiple marathons and swims between 2013 and 2018.
