Igor Pereira is a seasoned machine learning engineer with extensive experience across various companies in the technology and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Holonic since January 2023, Igor specializes in deploying time-series forecasting models in the Energy Trading/Storage domain for the US market. Previously at Olist, from October 2021 to January 2023, Igor contributed to the Data Platform team, enhancing the ML platform and leading a significant cloud migration project that reduced costs by 30%. Prior roles include developing IoT solutions at DevGrid, co-founding an IoT startup at Sirva.Me, and developing software solutions in back-end and research assistant capacities at Nelogica, MBOCHIP, and Technische Universität Kaiserslautern. Igor holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a specialization in Data Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
