Matthew Hillyer is currently serving as a Product Security Lead and Principal Connected Medical Device Security Architect at Hologic, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, Matthew Hillyer worked at GE Healthcare from October 2005 to July 2022, where roles included Sr Staff Product Security Leader, Staff Cloud Operations Engineer, Staff Build and Release Engineer, and Senior Support Engineer, among others. Earlier experience includes a position as Customer Service Representative II at EDO Corporation and serving in the US Navy as a Submarine Force Information Assurance Officer from October 1996 to October 2004. Matthew Hillyer holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from DePaul University and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same institution.
