Marcos Borrell, PhD, currently serves as Vice President of Global Research & Development at Hologic, Inc., where responsibilities include strategy setting and pipeline delivery for the Diagnostic Solutions Division. Previously, Marcos held multiple leadership roles at Hologic, including Vice President of Research & Development and Vice President of R&D Portfolio & Program Management. Prior experience includes serving as Head of IOL Product Development at Alcon and as Director of Engineering & Technology at Allergan, where Marcos directed efforts in product development and engineering. Marcos earned a PhD and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
