Eddie Vega is a Senior Engineer at Holmes US since August 2015, overseeing the design and construction administration of various building structures, with a focus on new construction, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, retrofits, and tenant improvements. Previously, Eddie served as a Graduate Researcher at Stanford University from July 2014 to June 2015, studying the aging effects on seismic isolation systems. Additional experience includes an internship at the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, where Eddie contributed to the Concrete Coalition project and coordinated efforts for the School Earthquake Safety Initiative, as well as research work at the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center focused on structural and earthquake engineering. Eddie holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
