Kwanele Nkuna, CDMP, has extensive work experience in data management and governance. Kwanele is currently working as the Head of Data Governance at Hollard Insurance since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bryte Insurance Company Limited as a Manager of Data Governance from September 2019 to October 2022. Before that, they were employed at Nampak from December 2015 to August 2019, where they held the position of Manager of Data Management. At Nampak, they were responsible for implementing data management technology and processes, establishing global standards for data management, and leading data harmonization projects. Kwanele also has experience working at Accenture as a Consultant in Data Management and CRM, and at Nedbank as a Data Analyst. Kwanele began their career at Transnet Freight Rail as an Analysis Programmer.

Kwanele Nkuna, CDMP, has a strong education background in various fields. In 2020, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Resources Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Additionally, they completed an Advanced Certificate in Practice Management from Henley Business School in 2021.

In 2019, Kwanele acquired a DAMA certification in Data Management. They also hold a B-Tech degree in ICT from Tshwane University of Technology, which they earned from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, they completed a National Diploma in ICT from the same university between 2000 and 2002.
