With a background in biology, Ted has held positions at Duke Energy Corporation and the Holland Board of Public Works, where Ted has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in areas such as electric distribution, water treatment, and wastewater collection. Ted's educational background includes a Master of Science in Biology from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Grand Valley State University. In addition, Ted holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.
