Irene Medina Mora is an environmental management analyst at Holcim Costa Rica, with a focus on comprehensive waste management and environmental strategies. Prior experience includes serving as an environmental manager at Liga Agrícola Industrial de la Caña de Azúcar (LAICA), where Irene oversaw waste management plans, and consulting roles at Ambientica Consulting S.A., contributing to greenhouse gas inventory projects for Puntarenas. Earlier positions involved managing waste at the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad and serving as a laboratory assistant at CEQIATEC. Irene holds a Licentiate degree in Environmental Engineering from the Tecnológico de Costa Rica and has pursued additional certifications, maintaining involvement in various educational programs related to environmental management.
