Tang Lawrence has over 27 years of experience in the building industry, with a focus on sales and marketing. Tang has established strong relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers. The highlight of their career includes converting timber plywood hoarding into Zincalume and Colorbond steel roll-formed profile cladding and introducing steel roofing and walling with enhanced acoustic and thermal performance. Tang Lawrence has worked as the Head of Sales & Marketing at Holcim since 2008. Prior to that, they held the same position at Holcim Singapore Ltd. Tang also served as the Vice President of Marketing at BlueScope Lysaght Singapore Pte Ltd from 1984 to 2007. Their early career includes a role as Plant Supervisor at RDC Readymixed Concrete from 1983 to 1984.

Tang Lawrence obtained an Associate's Degree in Senior Management Program from IMD in 2009. In 2013, they pursued a Global ACM Building Quality Management program at PDI Ninth House in Frankfurt.
