Tagir Valitov is a seasoned professional in the field of geology and mining operations, currently serving as Project Manager Reserves and Geology and Head of Mining Operations at Holcim since March 2018. In this role, Tagir leads a team of mining managers and specialists, focusing on optimizing performance and delivering long-term strategies for mining operations with an emphasis on cost and quality. Previously, Tagir held several positions at TIGERS REALM COAL LIMITED from April 2012 to December 2017, including Resource Geologist and Deputy Exploration Manager, where responsibilities included optimizing operation costs and managing exploration activities. Earlier experience includes roles as Geophysicist at LARGEO LLC and Geologist at The Group of companies "TimeZYX." Tagir's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
