Ralf Behnke is the Head of Group Intellectual Property at Holcim Technology Ltd. since January 2024, following a tenure as Director of Intellectual Property at Umicore from October 2017 to December 2023. Prior to this, Ralf Behnke served in various roles at ABB from May 2005 to September 2017, including Global Patent Officer for Business Units High Voltage Products and Transformers, Innovation Director, and Group Strategic Intellectual Property. Ralf Behnke began the professional career as a Development Engineer at Connedata GmbH between 1994 and 1996 and worked as a Consultant at Accenture from 2001 to 2005. Academic qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Process and Production Control Technology from Technische Universität Clausthal and a Master’s Degree in Automatic Control and Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
